Think Wine Marketing was founded in the fall of 2002, enacting the long held vision of Wine Marketer, John Corcoran, of creating a Sonoma, California based wine business marketing company, offering family owned wine businesses a lower cost alternative to the hiring of full time marketing employees.
The genesis of Think Wine Marketing was based in the observation that small, independent, quality oriented
family owned and operated wine companies, tended to lack efficient marketing organizations, and the necessary
number of skilled personnel to effectively create brand equity and brand strength in an increasingly crowded
marketplace. Think Wine Marketing provides the opportunity for small, independent, quality focused wine
companies to form a wine marketing partnership, that strategically consolidates assets, and builds a business
model that maximizes economies of scale, creating a rationalized marketing presence, resulting in improved
in-market brand performance.
